These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by the operator of Carvidi (“we”, “us”, “our”).

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may refuse or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

The Service offers tools to submit information about a vehicle (including text descriptions and photos) and to receive computer-generated reports that summarise possible issues, rough cost ranges, and similar informational content.

Reports are produced using automated technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Outputs are probabilistic and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL MECHANICAL, ENGINEERING, OR SAFETY ADVICE. NOTHING ON THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES AN INSPECTION, CERTIFICATION, WARRANTY, OR GUARANTEE OF ANY VEHICLE CONDITION.

You must not rely on the Service as a substitute for a qualified mechanic, authorised repairer, or manufacturer guidance. Always have safety-critical systems (brakes, steering, airbags, tyres, etc.) inspected by a licensed professional before driving.

We aim to help you understand possible issues and prepare for a workshop visit; we do not diagnose your vehicle in a legal or professional sense and we do not warrant that any suggestion is accurate or applicable to your situation.

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or servers are free of harmful components.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR VEHICLE VALUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY OUTPUT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100), IF YOU PAID NOTHING.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent still permitted.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make about operating, repairing, or modifying your vehicle. You assume all risk from acting or failing to act based on Service outputs.

You must provide accurate information where requested. You must not upload illegal content, malware, or third-party personal data without rights.

You must comply with traffic laws and manufacturer instructions. The Service is not for emergency use.

You may need an account. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

Certain features may require purchase of report credits or paid plans as described at checkout. Prices, taxes, and billing cycles are shown before payment. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, fees are generally non-refundable once a report credit is consumed or a digital service is delivered.

We may change pricing with reasonable notice where required. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features.

We and our licensors own the Service, branding, software, and content we create, subject to your rights in your own uploads. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes in line with these Terms.

You may not copy, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), scrape, or resell the Service without our written consent.

The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party terms or practices. AI and hosting providers may process your inputs under their technical roles as our subprocessors.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to security, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive termination.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may modify or discontinue features. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance.

Unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Romania shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.

If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service, superseding prior understandings on the same subject.
